Create a logo for the Tohoku International Film & Art Festival. The request was not to use motifs such as perforated film, but to find a form with potential for a more global perspective. The keywords provided were: spinning yarn, connecting, flapping wings, relay, light and future, creative city.
SOLUTION
あらゆる角度から集まるスポットライトのフォルムは、東北の地から光を照らすとともに様々な分野の優秀な作品を讃えるという意味が込められている。また同時に色彩りどりの花びらで咲いた花の形を表し、その瞬間を祝福している様子を表現した。
A shape of spotlights converging from various angles suggests both the light emerging from the land of Tohoku and the glorification of outstanding works in various fields. At the same time, the shape represents a flower that blooms with colorful petals, expressing the blessing of that moment.
